• UPI is a non-profit initiative by NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India)
• It is highly secured with 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)
• It enables real-time money transfers between different bank accounts with only one application
• Due to its popularity, UPI also has a presence in our neighboring countries, Bhutan & Nepal

Quick Fact – NPCI is also partnering with entities in the USA, Japan, Singapore & Dubai to implement the same.
