Hello fellow Tether members, India’s very own digital currency is here!
India launched its own digital currency, or CBDC on Nov 1st, 2022.
The launch of CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency) is an initiative by RBI, & India is one of the few countries to launch its own digital currency (Well, I read we are the 11th country to do so!).
This digital currency will be issued by a central bank & CBDC will offer benefits to both the crypto space & digital payments landscape.
